Choose Your Fabric

Wool is delicate protein fiber. Cold water only, zero agitation, reshape while damp. This 22-minute process preserves the natural oils that make wool temperature-regulating and odor-resistant. Works for sweaters, cardigans, and wool-blend knits.

    Fabric Care Tips

    Wool Storage

Always fold wool knits — never hang. Use cedar blocks instead of mothballs. The natural lanolin in wool repels odor, so you can wear wool sweaters 3-5 times between washes. Airing out overnight on a flat surface refreshes them.

    Embrace Linen Wrinkles

Linen's relaxed texture is the point — it signals effortless, warm-weather style. Iron only collar and placket for a polished-casual look. Heavy pressing kills linen's character. Steam works better than a hot iron on pure linen.

    Merino Rotation

Rotate 2-3 merino base layers to extend lifespan 3x. Merino's natural antimicrobial properties mean you can wear it multiple times between washes. Never use fabric softener — it coats the fiber and destroys moisture-wicking.

    Temperature Rules

Cold (30°C/86°F): Wool, merino, delicates. Warm (40°C/104°F): Cotton, linen, denim. Hot (60°C/140°F): Whites, towels, bedding only. Hot water shrinks cotton by up to 5% and destroys wool. Always check care labels first.
